Be the first man to reach 500kg deadlift.
Win WSM and dine off that for decades.
Amass a huge following.
Cross over into other sports with your name & ability to put bums on seats.

Now as any boxer knows regardless of how good you are if you can't put bums on seats you won't make it. If you can put bums on seats skills are least important.

Now you can criticise all you want. He wasn't the most dynamic or rounded strongman but on certain events one of the best. He won WSM once and that was all that was needed.

Leave the sport behind and generate mass market appeal. He is now in the running for these sorts of opportunities as his name sells tickets. It appeals to a different audience.

Eddie Hall and Tommy Fury each reportedly made an even split of £2.5 million ($3.3 million) before sponsorships for their crossover exhibition boxing match.

The total reported fight purse for the "Beauty vs. The Beast" main event at Manchester's AO Arena stood at £5 million.

Location:

Venue: Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh, EH28 8NB.

1st August Saturday. Event format:

Push a 9 ton truck 20 meters the fastest time registered

Pull a 9 ton truck no rope 20 meters
Fastest time registered

Then x2, 9 ton trucks pull at the same time attached by straps

Approximately 18/19 tons
Fastest time registered

Finally x 3, 9 ton trucks pull at the same time again attached by straps

Approximately 27 tons
Fastest time registered

Guest judge will hopefully be Stuart Murray
World strongest man competitor and who also run giant live Scotland strongest man competition

Athletes obtain a family pass for the day of the competition for 4 people and competitor entry is free.

We always rally around each other in this close knit sport.....

Ryan statement " So a few people have reached out and asked about my condition so I thought it was only right to put something up.

I have used an old picture because I don't see myself ATM when I look in a mirror or photos.

So basically in April my ankle swelled up massively and I went to minor injuries and they said it was ankle tendonitis.

On the Friday after I went to work and both my ankles were swollen and I felt dreadful in myself and just randomly started crying to myself.

I took myself to A&E and was given a chest x-ray amongst other things this showed shadowing on my lungs (scary thing to be told) then I had a chest CT with dye and was then told they suspected I had the rare auto immune disease Sarcoidosis.

I was told to go away and Google it but not read much into it that's when limbo started for me

I was then put under a team in the hot clinic and had various tests and a camera down my throat

These confirmed I had sarcoidosis and that it wasn't as bad in the lungs

I have lost 21kg in 7weeks and been coughing, extremely fatigued and unable to perform basic tasks without feeling a black out coming.

Two Saturdays ago I had a heart ultrasound and now I have been told my heart isn't beating strong enough.

That was also something scary to hear and now I'm awaiting a heart MRI to see the extent of the damage.

I haven't worked since beginning of April hence someone taking pity on me and starting the go fund me 😔

I'm taking it day by day and trying to stay positive and keep a level head

I have 4 kids to be strong for now and show them that giving up isn't a option.

I know there are people in the world worse off than me and this isn't a pity party just wanted to let people know and hopefully they understand it a bit more .
