🚨 BIG NEWS TODAY. Can you believe the timing of this? The Prime Minister has announced plans to ban social media access for under-16s from spring 2027. Tomorrow, I'll be sitting down with Esther G**y on The EMpire Diaries podcast.

Many of you will know Esther as Brianna G**y's mum 🩷☁️

Following the unimaginable loss of Brianna, Esther has become one of the UK's most powerful advocates for children's wellbeing, mindfulness, digital safety and protecting future generations.

As a mum of a soon-to-be 14-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son, and a social media marketing strategist myself, this is a conversation I've found myself thinking about more and more.

Excited to get stuck into Month 1 full day coaching on my Visible & Paid programme today 🩷🧡

I don't think the women inside realise what's about to happen. I think most people join something like this thinking they need:

More followers. Better content. A new logo. A better website. More consistency. More confidence.

And whilst all of those things matter... They're rarely the actual problem. Last week, the women completed their Business Evaluation.

The reaction?

A mixture of 😳 🤯 🫣 and "Oh my god I thought I knew business but I don’t have a clue..."

This isn’t because they're bad at what they do. Quite the opposite infact, they’re all brilliant at what they do. The problem is that most of us spend years becoming experts in our craft but almost no time learning how to build a business around it.

Tomorrow we start fixing that. Not with social media. Not with Canva. Not with content hacks.

Tomorrow we start with the foundations 🧱
The woman behind the business. The beliefs she's carrying. The visibility blocks she's been dragging around for years.

The stories she's telling herself about why now isn't the right time. The confidence she thinks she needs before she takes action. The "good girl conditioning" that has taught so many women to stay quiet, stay grateful, not charge too much and not take up too much space.

Tomorrow they'll identify exactly what's holding them back 🕵🏼‍♀️ They'll get clear on why they're doing this in the first place. They'll start building a personal brand that actually reflects who they are.

They'll gain clarity on their offer 💁🏼‍♀️
Build confidence around pricing 💷
Set meaningful goals 🎯

And most importantly... They'll stop winging it alone just guessing!!!

Because when you know where you are, where you want to go and what's standing in the way, everything will change!

That's what Month 1 is really about.

Not marketing. Not visibility. Not even business.

Clarity 💎

And from experience, clarity is often the thing that starts to move everything!

I genuinely cannot wait to see what happens over the next 6 months 🥹🩷🧡

Today I had a coaching session with a client in Spain who told me she felt stuck. You know the feeling... Going round and round in circles. She described it as “like being stuck going round and round a roundabout not knowing which direction to turn into” ⭕️

Questioning every decision.

Wondering why everyone else seems to have life figured out whilst you're still trying to work out what you want.

She kept saying: “I just need more clarity."

But as we talked and I kept digging deeper. Yes I’m annoying I want to get to the underlying things…. something really interesting happened. The more she spoke, the more obvious it became that she wasn't confused at all!!

In fact, she knew exactly what she wanted. She'd known this for years. The problem wasn't clarity.

The problem was actually permission. Permission to want something different. Permission to stop living according to everyone else's expectations. Permission to admit that a life which looks good on paper doesn't always feel good on the inside.

Permission to choose herself!!

And I honestly I don't think she's alone in this.

I think there are a lot of women walking around saying:

❌ "I don't know what I want."

When what they really mean is:

❌ "I'm scared of what happens if I admit what I want."

Because admitting it means something might have to change…. Maybe it’s….

A relationship.

A career.

A friendship group.

A business.

A version of yourself you've outgrown.

That's bloody uncomfortable. Really it is.

But pretending you don't know is often easier than facing what you do know. (I did this for YEARS myself, I was literally in chokehold with it and doing my own head in before I stepped into my EMpowered Era) 🙈

So here's the question I've been thinking about all afternoon...

What if you're not stuck? 👀

What if you've known the answer all along?

And you're simply waiting for permission to go after it?

🎙️ THIS WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE A PODCAST EPISODE...

A few weeks ago, 20 women arrived at my Content, Confidence & Visibility Weekend.

Some had never had professional photos taken before.
Some hated being on camera.
Some nearly turned the car around before they got there.
Some were carrying things far heavier than anyone else in the room knew.

What started as a content day quickly became something much bigger.

As I walked upstairs, I found a group of women having one of the most honest conversations I've heard in a long time.

They were talking about confidence.
Visibility.
Motherhood.
Business.
Self-doubt.
Fear.
Grief.
Purpose.
The pressure of trying to be everything to everyone.

One of them said:

"You should be recording this."

So I grabbed a microphone as I do lol 🎤

What followed was completely unscripted, completely unplanned and one of the most powerful conversations I've ever had the privilege of being part of.

No filters.
No pretending.
No highlight reels.

Just real women sharing real stories 🩷🧡

One of the ladies shared after that she's now featured in a podcast and has never even listened to a single podcast in her life before! Comfort zones well and truly smashed ⚡️

It’s never really been about the welcome box 🩷🧡

The folder.
The notebook.
The pen.
The mug.
The gifts.

Those are just the things that fit inside it.

What doesn’t fit inside the box is the courage it took for these women to say YES to themselves.

Every single welcome pack you see here belongs to a woman who has decided she’s done playing small.

Done hiding.

Done waiting for the “right time.”

Done being the best-kept secret in her industry.

Over the next six months, they’ll be building confidence, visibility, connections, opportunities and businesses that truly reflect their potential.

And whilst I could have had these sent directly from a warehouse, that never felt right.

Because if someone trusts me enough to be part of their journey, I want them to know from day one that they’re valued.

That’s why I packed every box myself.

That’s why I personally delivered some of them by hand.

Because behind every business is a human being.

A woman with dreams, fears, responsibilities, self-doubt and huge potential.

And if there’s one thing I want every woman joining Visible & Paid to know, it’s this:

Instagram has just launched a brand new feature called “Instants”… and from a marketing + psychology perspective, this is REALLY interesting 👀

Because whilst Instagram are positioning this as:
📸 more authentic
📸 more casual
📸 more “in the moment”…

…I actually think this says far more about where social media is heading as a whole.

People are exhausted.

Exhausted by polished perfection.

Exhausted by performative content.

Exhausted by feeling like every single moment has to be curated, aesthetic and “on brand.”

And platforms know it.

That’s why we’re seeing a HUGE shift towards:

→ private sharing

→ close friends content

→ DM culture

→ casual posting

→ behind-the-scenes moments

→ human connection over perfection

But at the SAME time…

social media platforms are still businesses.

And businesses survive on one thing:

‼️‼️‼️ ATTENTION ‼️‼️‼️

The more we post,

the more we check the app,

the longer we stay there,

the more ads they sell.

Which is why I find this whole thing fascinating…

Because the SECOND authenticity starts performing well online…

it becomes monetised!!! 💷💷💷

“Being real” becomes a feature.

Then eventually… it becomes a strategy in itself 🤣

I think we’re entering a really strange era where authenticity itself becomes performative.

Because let’s all be honest…

How long before people start strategically staging their “casual” Instants? 😂

But whether you love this update or hate it… there’s a really important lesson in it for business owners and creators:

People don’t just want polished brands anymore.

They want people.

Personality.

Imperfection.

Humour.

Opinions.

Human energy.

And I think THAT is the real reason features like this are exploding 👀
