What small action do you think makes the biggest difference to mental health at work?

This Mental Health Awareness Week, the theme is Action, and at Blake UK, we’re thinking about what action really looks like in our workplace.

In roles like ours, there can still be a stigma around opening up. People often feel they need to “just get on with it.” But we know that avoiding the conversation doesn’t make the pressure go away.
That’s why action matters.

Sometimes it’s a quick check-in with a colleague.

Sometimes it’s making space for honest conversations.

And sometimes it’s recognising when we need to pause and prioritise wellbeing.

Creating a workplace where mental health is valued takes consistent effort from all of us. This week is a chance to reflect on the actions we’re taking and how even small changes can make a real difference to our team.

Mental health matters every week but this week reminds us why we need to keep the conversation going.

What a great day at the Alltrade Northern Show 2026!

The team at Blake UK were proud to be part of another well-supported industry event, connecting with installers, integrators, and AV professionals from across the region.

Trade shows like this are incredibly valuable for our industry. They give us the opportunity to:

• Speak directly with the professionals who install and rely on our products every day

• Share insights and hear first-hand about the challenges and opportunities shaping the trade
