If you’ve been following the previous videos of this garage conversion, here’s the final outcome. The whole roof was completely stripped off and replaced with a brand-new one, fitted with a skylight window and finished in fibreglass. I also carried out full brickwork repointing, dug out and installed all new drainage and groundwork, replaced the slabs, concreted the floor area and self-levelled it, fitted suspended ceilings, built stud walls and fully insulated the space.
A complete rewire was done, everything boarded (some on adhesive), beams covered, and then I installed a brand-new composite door. The utility area was rebuilt with all fresh drainage, and I fitted a luxury WC too. All freshly plastered, painted, new flooring, new skirting – the full works, finished to a high spec.
This started as a simple request for a home gym, but the customer is now so impressed they’re thinking of turning it into an en-suite instead 😂 After doing their upstairs bathroom and them realising I covered every trade myself, it only made sense for me to take on the whole garage conversion!
