This month is anniversary time. Back in the mist of time in January 1987, Lee Boswell Glass was created and am proud to say that 35 years later, is still very much here ! Starting from absolutely nothing, it was done the hard way with no contacts and an empty order book on day one. A small advert in the old Banbury Cake newspaper was the only advertising at the time. Working out of the garage at home, a work bench, cutting bench and a glass rack were made, hand tools purchased, stock was bought and the first work van, a Morris Marina van was acquired to get going. Pleased to say that the work bench (for making leaded lights) is still being used today in it's fourth location. Don't know where those 35 years have gone (would love to get them back and do it all again) recessions have come and gone, but have kept going, so cheers and here's to the next 35 years !! :) :)
