It's true, the majority of SEO professionals learnt how to generate organic traffic to websites from search engines themselves, often by reading up on SEO and then implementing what they learned on websites

in the early days when you're learning it can be a process of trial and error, mistakes will be made but that's ok!

Bonjour from Paris! 🇫🇷 My boyfriend and I caught the Eurostar from London for the weekend!

📸I thought about trying to take a glamorous hotel shot to make myself look more glamorous..but that's not my style, and it's not my SEO style either. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I believe in honest SEO services which means I don't hide behind technical jargon or complicated monthly reports to try make my website optimisations fancier or more complicated 🐍📊📈

If you ever needed a reason to learn or invest in SEO...

If you've heard of SEO, then you've probably heard of backlinks ... but what are they and WHY are they important for your website?

⬇️⬇️⬇️

Backlinks are clickable links (hyperlinks) from one website towards another website.

Google and other search engines see backlinks as votes of trust for that website.

If a blog post has lots of backlinks from other websites then Google understands that the content must be good and in turn pushes that blog post (and website overall) up the search rankings closer to that elusive number one position!!!

Introducing me:

Hi I'm Phoebe, I run The Plan Success, providing high-quality, contract-free SEO for all types of businesses, from multinationals to new startups, from government websites to subversive communities. 📊💻📈

I've been working in SEO for 5+ years now, originally working agency side before branching out on my own.

After beoming a small business, offering freelance services 👩🏻‍💼💼, I was blown away by the amount of companies coming to me after being burned by multiple snake oil digital marketing agencies.

They had been paying thousands of pounds a month for little or no return on their website traffic, instead receiving monthly PowerPoint reports filled with jargon and useless figures...🤦🏻‍♀️

Effectively they were burning their money at these agencies with the snake oil they had been sold. 🐍

As well as companies needing SEO services, I was also getting a lot of requests for SEO training: marketing professionals wanting to learn how to do the SEO themselves so they didn't have to rely on agencies.

And that's what I want to do, I want to teach you how to do your own SEO. It's not rocket science and with a bit of help from me, you'll be able to improve your own website's organic traffic and boost sales! 💲💲💲

What is SEO?

SEO is also the job title of a person who does this for a living e.g. you need to hire an SEO to improve your business' internet presence.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is often about making teeny modifications to parts of your website, both the front and backend. Individually, these changes might seem like tiny changes that won't make a difference, but when combined with other optimisations, they should have a noticeable impact on your site's user experience which will lead to a big improvement in web traffic. 💻🤑
