Remember employers, you’re legally and morally bound to ensure the safety of anyone affected by your operations. When preparing food, especially when catering for allergens or intolerances, you need to be sure the products you are preparing, are as they say they are AND that you are preparing and serving them correctly. It’s not enough to simply say “I didn’t know” or “I thought they were ok”

Just completed a noise survey for one of our live music venue clients, which included taking readings at their venue, compiling a report of the findings and providing them with a list of recommended improvements they could make. We will be here to support them throughout and are always at the end of the phone if they have any questions.

If you are an ‘occupier’ of a premises or a site, even if you are not necessarily the owner, you have a duty to prevent unauthorised access. This horrendous example shows that you will be prosecuted if someone gets injured, whether they were supposed to be there or not.
