"A 6-inch pump" is not a specification. It’s a diameter.

Eight questions that actually decide the pump spec:
1. What liquid needs to be pumped?
2. Will it prime itself, from dry, without a foot valve?
3. Does it need to be able to run dry?
4. What is the peak volume of water?
5. What's the suction lift on your site?
6. What solids does it need to pass?
7. What are the pressure losses caused by pipe length, diameter, fittings, valves etc?
8. Do you require remote monitoring?

Answer those and the pump chooses itself.

We're an authorised Xylem Godwin dealer. We also sell Tsurumi submersibles, slurry, high-head and sewage pumps and we'll point you at the cheaper one when the cheaper one is right.

As the days get shorter, reliable lighting becomes increasingly important across outdoor sites and operations.

The X-Eco lighting tower provides up to 7,000 m² of illumination, making it suitable for applications including construction, mining, emergency response, events and military use.

A few key figures:
• 200 hours runtime
• 7,000 m² coverage
• £336 fuel saving per month
• 1,000+ kg less CO₂ emissions per month

To put the runtime into perspective, 200 hours is more than 8 days of continuous operation.
