I had a lightbulb moment where I realised a) I haven’t been regularly posting on here for a few months and b) I haven’t actually posted about what it is I do for many a month 🤦‍♀️

…so here goes! (Trust me, it’s a reminder for me, as much as anyone else 🤣)

Here’s some of the things I help my wonderful clients with:

✨ Online business management (by being the first contact for customers and keeping everything running behind the scenes)
✨ Inbox and calendar management
✨ Tech project implementation (think ThriveCart, Wordpress, Kajabi, Slack, Dubsado…)
✨ Community management
✨ Online and face to face event set-up and support

And woah, I think I’ve realised *why* I haven’t posted anything like this for a long time - it feels a bit funny to be say it all out loud like that doesn’t it?! (Imposter syndrome alert right there🚨)

I went along to a brilliant Local Meet Up a couple of weeks ago, run by the wonderful .creative.uk and and it was a great event! It was so good to catch up with lots of lovely people 💛

I really enjoyed it because we did an exercise where we defined our values in business, and it was honestly overdue for me because I don't think I've even looked at my business values for a long time.

One of the values that got mentioned for me was 'fun' and honestly my first thought was 'well, that's not very businessy, is it?!'

But then I realised, that's actually the point.

Because my business shouldn't define me. It's the other way round - I define my business. And I like to think I can be a bit fun 😏

Other than 'fun', my other values were integrity, honesty, creativity and trust. They are not only the things I look for in clients, but also in the people I surround myself with.

It definitely gave me lots to think about! Have you reviewed your values recently?

I have a new assistant helping me in the office, so if email response times are a little longer than usual, I do apologise!

She has a tendency to drop what she’s doing and take a two hour nap, her paws are too big for the keyboard and she keeps asking me for cuddles.

Just can’t get the staff, can I 🤷‍♀️🤣

This is my view when I finish my swimming lesson. And after not being able to go for a couple of weeks, it was a very welcome view!

Because if there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that the link between me swimming and my mental health is huge, and not going had a bigger effect on me than I realised.

Amazing how quickly something can become a well-needed part of your life isn’t it?
