URGENT NOTICE FROM GLEAM TEAM

Unfortunately the COVID19 infection has infected a member of our staff. Therefore many other members are close contacts. I have no choice but to close down with immediate effect until Friday 20th August. I understand this will cause disruption and inconvenience to many but this is the law. My team will not break COVID isolation please dont ask. Very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Gleam Team is looking for a motivated individual to join our team of cleaners. You must be able to work under pressure able to manage time and your own work load. Have a good understanding of the English language due to the dangerous chemicals we use, reading rotas, writing invoices and communicating with customers on a one to one basis. You must be flexible be able to work late and early shifts. You must be able to drive and have a vehicle, fuel allowance will be given. Be able to work with others and follow instructions. Be able to work in a verity of different settings from homes to offices, schools and hospitals. Be able to provide a current DBS certificate, being fully COVID vaccinated is desirable. Also be aware that COVID 19 is still present within our community and as cleaning staff my be exposed to COVID 19 more than most in some settings, this is our job this is what we do to keep others safe.

Here at Gleam Team we pride ourselves on providing a service that can be relied upon. Over the last 18 months this has been challenging to say the least. You will recieve training with a manager or supervisor. You will be on a month trial.

What we do is hard work. Often unappreciated. Please do not apply if you do not wish to work hard. Gleam Team does not care if you have 10 A* or 10 E grades at GCSE. We look at the person and their attributes of whom is applying not their grades you will not be asked. Gleam Team want know you as a person. **** COVID 19 UPDATE ****

As COVID 19 is increasing again within our local community please can we ask if you have anyone in your household self isolating even if this is a child to cancel your clean. We are unable to enter your property if you have someone self isolating. We could potentially pass on the virus to the elderly and vulnerable whom are unable to fight the virus as younger people can.

****** URGENT UPDATE ******

A member of Gleam Team has tested positive for COVID 19 due to this some cleaning services with be disrupted over the next 2 weeks. Please be patient we will keep disruption to a minimum, however the safety of our customers, other members of Gleam Team and the general public are our priority at this time. Some cleans may need to be cancelled due to staff shortages. Plumbing and heating services will also be distributed at this time.

Please can I ask customers both cleaning and plumbing and heating not book works in if they have symptoms of COVID 19. Please cancel your cleans you will not be charged. COVID 19 self test kits are now available from the local testing centres also online. They are easy to use and convenient. Gleam Team provides services to clients/business/healthcare settings whom cant do without us, we must be able to keep providing our services.

**** COVID 19 update ****

Hello from Gleam Team, we hope you are all staying safe and well.

From week beginning 12th April with the reopening of 'some' hospitality sectors. All general household cleans that are presently being done on a Friday will be moved back to their original pre COVID slot.

We will continue to work in bubbles as far as we can. We will continue to use new PPE for each job. We will continue to be tested for COVID using lateral flow testing. We will continue to provide our services to the most vulnerable in the correct manner.

Any clients who are still on hold re COVID, whom wish to resume cleaning please contact Gleam Team ASAP to rebook your slot. [email protected] any clients not wanting to resume cleaning for any reason COVID related or otherwise please let us know so I can release your slot to another client.

***Update for non essential residential cleaning***

First and foremost I want to thank you for being patient and understanding with Gleam Teams decision to limit cleaning to certain groups. This could of potentially stopped us unwilling spreading COVID 19 to the very vulnerable within our community. With the roll out of vaccines for vulnerable people we feel we can offer a cautious next step.

While the leisure and hospitality sector is still closed we have some moverability to allocate Friday each week to non essential domestic cleaning. Please be advised you may not get your regular cleaner due to staff bubbles. Gleam Team still needs to maintain strict distance between teams. If possible please allow cleaners to be to clean an empty property, if this is not possible then please do not be in the same room. This arrangement will be a temporary measure until leisure and hospitality is able to reopen, once this happens your clean day will return to normal.

*** Government Lockdown, COVID 19 ***

As you all will now have seen the news we have entered a government lockdown. Gleam Team can still provide services throughout lockdown. However at present they will be limited to....

• Hospital cleaning
• Early years settings
• Schools
• Business cleaning
• Cleaning in private homes will only be done for our clients whom are disabled, have a carer, elderly or are in any of the 'at risk' groups from COVID 19.

If you weren't contacted on Monday to be reassured your cleaning would still go ahead please contact Gleam Team ASAP. Or if you wish to cancel your cleaning the please do so. Gleam Team can be contacted [email protected]

As always please cancel your clean if you feel unwell and book a COVID test. Gleam Team are here for our vulnerable clients so if any of our vulnerable clients would like anything collecting before your clean is scheduled please let us know, you are not being a bother we are not to busy we can ALWAYS make time.

Gleam Team will continue to wear full, fresh PPE at every clean. Follow strict instructions on social distancing and ensure our cleaning equipment is properly maintained between cleans.

**** UPGENT UPDATE RE COVID 19/GLEAM TEAM RE OPENING ****

Firstly Happy New Year form all at Gleam Team.

Following being placed in to tier 4 restrictions our open up will be staggered for the first week. Week beginning 4th January.

Unfortunately due to the mixing of households over the Christmas period Gleam Team has had a number of cancellations for cleaning within private residential homes. We have a duty of care to all of our customers. Therefore as of week beginning 4th January the ONLY cleaning to take place will be ..............

• Hospitals
• Schools
• Business cleaning
• Early years settings
• Private homes where a carer/home help/help the aged/disabled person is in residence/Elderly. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We hope everyone can understand our decision to prioritise these groups at this difficult time. This will be under review each week to hopefully introduce a more broader cleaning.

As always please cancel your clean if you have and COVID 19/flu like symptoms, cleaning will only commence if you are well. Please socially distanced from cleaning teams.

COVID 19 update from Gleam Team. As the government has announced that the whole of Lincolnshire will remain in tier 3 our services will remain as the were.

Clients will be contacted over the weekend re bookings for our last working day before our xmas break.

Our last working day will be the 21st December, returning on the 4th January.

All at Gleam Team wish each and everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
