This is our entrance hall.
Originally this was going to be more divided and have a mezzanine above where the grey panelling is but it is such a bright open space and when you come in from the porch it’s a real wow and we love it as it is.
Even with plans we had to rejiggle the layout.
This is the original part of the building to the left - just beyond the start of the stairs yo the boys rooms is all new.
To take the first picture I am standing where the kitchen used to be - the kitchen became the entrance to the house to centralise it more and the original entrance which is out of the picture to the right hand side became a study area.
The panelling designed by me built by my very useful and dedicated hubby.
