🌍 Sometimes making a difference starts with something as simple as picking up litter.

This Volunteer Week, and in celebration of World Environment Day, the Beyondly team spent time out in our local community helping to clean up the areas where we live and work.

Together, we collected over 5kg of litter from local streets and green spaces. It might seem like a small action, but it's a reminder that positive change happens when people take the time to care for the places around them.

At Beyondly, we're passionate about helping create a more sustainable future, and that starts with taking action in our own communities too.

Today is World Environment Day, and we're taking a moment to reflect on the progress we've made, the lessons we've learned, and the work still ahead of us.

As a Certified B Corporation™, we remain truly dedicated to transparently sharing our efforts and progress in our Impact Report, which reflects our ongoing vision of creating a better, fairer, sustainable world for all.

From supporting charities and community projects through our Fund for Change, to progressing our carbon reduction journey and investing in local communities. Every step brings us closer to our vision of a better, fairer, and more sustainable world for all.

World Environment Day reminds us that positive change doesn't happen by accident it happens when people and organisations choose to take action.

🌍 We were delighted to once again sponsor Skipton Eco Day, helping to make it a free event for the local community to attend, learn, and discover ways to support the planet while making a real difference locally. 💚

☀️ With the sun shining and the doors wide open in Skipton, the event saw a fantastic turnout. It was inspiring to see so many people visiting throughout the day, sharing ideas, asking questions, and engaging with sustainability initiatives. 🙌

👕♻️ One of the highlights was our hugely successful clothes swap, encouraging reuse and reducing waste. Delivered by Beyondly volunteers, the swap gave pre-loved clothes a second life while helping visitors refresh their wardrobes sustainably. 🤝 We were proud to partner with the local Skipton Oxfam shop, ensuring any unclaimed items were donated for continued use after the event.

🛍️ The response was incredible:
✨ People arrived with bags full of clothes to donate
✨ Families left with "new-to-them" outfits
✨ Visitors returned after enjoying last year's swap
✨ Lots of first-time participants joined in too

♻️ We were also thrilled to be alongside RECOUP and North Yorkshire Council who we are collaborating with to support the Craven area recycling campaign that Beyondly is collaborating on💡 Many local residents stopped by their stand to learn how they can increase recycling, reduce contamination, and play their part in creating a more circular future.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, swapped, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success. Together, small actions can create meaningful change. 🌱

Skipton Rotary Oxfam Skipton Rotary Eco Day

Skipton Rotary's ECO Day is now less than a week away — and excitement is building for what promises to be an inspiring and enjoyable community event.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous and loyal sponsors, Beyondly and North Yorkshire Council, whose valued support makes it possible for us to run this important event.
Join us next Saturday to discover the inspiring work being done locally to protect the environment — and to find out the simple, practical steps you can take to make a difference.
There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the day, including activities for children, a Fair Trade Café, a Clothes Swap, and collections for unwanted spectacles, hearing aids, mobility aids [no white goods], bras, and tools [hand and electrical] — all of which will be checked, made fit for purpose, and sent on to where they are needed most.

What a day at the Ilkley Town AFC Corporate 5-a-side tournament!

A huge thank you to everyone who played, supported and organised such a brilliant event. The sun showed up (mostly), the football was competitive, and the team spirit was even better.

Big congratulations to MOOR DEVELOPMENT for winning the tournament and we’re very happy to say Team Beyondly came away with the Shield Cup 🏆

Events like this are such a great reminder that strong businesses are built on strong people, good relationships and having fun together along the way.

This week at Beyondly, we’ve been celebrating Customer Service Week by reflecting on what great customer service really means to us. 💚

Across the business, our teams shared personal commitments focused on:

✨ and always keeping our members at the heart of what we do

What stood out most was the shared mindset across every team a commitment to moving beyond simply delivering tasks, and instead delivering meaningful support and positive experiences for our members every day.

From proactive check-ins and thoughtful follow-ups, to learning from one another and improving how we communicate, it’s been a brilliant reminder of what makes Beyondly special: our people.
