This week we wished Ian well as he retires after 36 years in Composites!

Ian, or Big Ian as you may know him, joined SHD in 2014 and held various positions including Operations Manager, Facilities and Warehouse Manager and more recently Engineering Manager.

He has played a fundamental part in the growth and success of SHD, and in particularly helping numerous colleagues learn and develop in their roles.

“I have really enjoyed my time at SHD and in composites, having first met Steve in 1989. Thank you to Steve, Helen, the entire SHD team, our customers and suppliers for your support and friendship over the years. I wish everyone well as SHD continues to go from strength to strength.” Ian.

This week our UK HQ came together to celebrate another successful quarter!

Our UK colleagues received a business update from SHD's leadership team and then headed outside for a delicious lunch from local businesses Gourmazin and Chowpizza.
