SOS FUELS, oil tank trellis Installations.

We have been very busy with new oil tank installations and exploring creative ways to hide them. 🤔

We have just completed this project for a wonderful customer, installing a stunning trellis around their new oil tank.😍

The customer plans to grow some beautiful Clematis up the trellis. Now, the oil tank is discreetly hidden in the garden. 🤩

Update Notice: Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) for Heating Oil Support in Lincolnshire

The Government has introduced the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) from April, aimed at supporting Lincolnshire residents facing difficulties due to the heating oil crisis. The CRF is designed to provide targeted emergency assistance and promote long-term financial stability for eligible households affected by recent energy cost increases.

Objectives -
To offer a safety net for residents on low incomes who experience sudden financial challenges associated with heating oil costs.
To invest in local financial resilience, helping communities reduce reliance on crisis funding in the future.

Funding Details -
Lincolnshire has successfully secured £1.8 million from the Government—the second largest allocation in the UK—to address the unique challenges posed by the county’s rural geography and demographic needs. This funding will be delivered through local councils and is specifically intended to assist those most affected by heating oil price increases.

Eligibility- To qualify, households must:

Have a below average income (under £36,000 combined household income)
Have savings of less than £6,000 after the cost of oil
Not be on a mains gas supply and use heating oil as the primary fuel for heating and/or hot water
Be at risk of losing immediate access to heating or hot water due to a lack of heating oil
Be able to pay the difference between the voucher value (£300.00) and the full cost of the heating oil, including delivery

The government has announced that there will be a new Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) from April to provide emergency support to eligible residents.

The primary objectives of the CRF are to provide a safety net for those on low incomes who encounter a financial shock. And to invest in building local financial resilience to reduce the need for crisis support in the long-term.

Local councils have received detailed guidance from the government and are currently considering the best way to support Lincolnshire residents moving forward. Further information will be shared once local plans have been approved.

SOS Fuels would like to show you our current situation with heating oil prices. We want to say that we are ourselves are having to purchase our oil at a much higher price. We are not charging prices for high profit. We are still unable to price for tanker deliveries because we are unable to predict the price so far ahead. We can take orders for tanker deliveries. But we can not price until 2 days before delivery. An explanation from UKIFDA on the current market.

SOS Fuels is unable to price for tanker deliveries. We have stopped taking orders for tanker deliveries.

We are still doing smaller deliveries. You can still order these on our website. These deliveries may be longer delivery times than same day or next day.

We are doing our upmost to get all the deliveries out to everyone that has ordered as quick as possible.
