Fab Friday morning at BNI Ace!

We began with our traditional mexican wave. followed by another insightful education slot from Carl, with the final piece on this month's topic, visitors.

Our feature presentation came from Jo, who delivered an engaging session on something every business owner should understand – the considerations when bringing in freelancers, employing family members, or recruiting new staff.

Jo highlighted some of the key areas that can help businesses avoid costly mistakes while building the right team for the future.

As always, it wasn't just about learning. There were plenty of referrals, quality conversations and opportunities to strengthen relationships within the room.

Fantastic Friday morning at BNI Ace!

We were treated to a brilliant feature presentation from Carl, who shared more about his business, the people he helps, and what makes him so passionate about what he does. He also gave us a glimpse into some of his personal goals too – including his plans for a salsa holiday, travelling the globe, and plenty more adventures along the way!

It's always great to learn more about the person behind the business. Those conversations help us understand not just what our members do, but who they are, making it so much easier to spot opportunities to refer them.

A big thank you to Carl for an engaging and entertaining presentation.

Another fantastic Friday morning with BNI Ace!

We kicked things off with breakfast in the sunshine before another great meeting packed with learning, laughter and plenty of networking.

Shahzadi delivered this week's education slot, sharing what makes a great visitor and, just as importantly, how to identify people who would benefit from visiting. A great reminder that introducing the right people creates opportunities for everyone.

The feature presentation was from Faye Hampson, where we explored why marketing strategy should always come before tactics. With a little help from the football World Cup, we looked at how the best teams don't win by chance – they succeed through preparation, a clear game plan and everyone knowing their role. Marketing is no different.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it another brilliant morning.

Friday morning that means BNI Ace!

This week's education slot was delivered by Claire Stinton, who shared a simple but powerful reminder about what to do when you receive a referral.

+ Make contact promptly.
+ Let the new contact know who referred them.
+ Keep your referrer updated on your progress.

Those small actions help build trust with both the person you've been introduced to and the member who put their reputation behind the referral. It's these little things that strengthen relationships.

We then enjoyed a brilliant feature presentation from Nikhita Channa at 4 Corners Property, who gave us an insight into both her background and the fantastic range of services her business offers. It was particularly interesting to hear about the stamp duty support they can provide, helping clients navigate what can often be a confusing part of the buying process.

To round things off, one of our group's favourite ways to learn... a quiz! A fun finish that certainly got everyone involved.

This time last week, we were back together at BNI Ace for another fantastic Friday morning!

We kicked off with an education slot from Carl, reminding us how small improvements in the way we network can make a big difference to the quality of referrals we receive.

As always, the 60-second presentations were full of energy, personality and clear referral requests – helping us all better understand how we can support one another.

Our feature presentation came from Chris Gibson, who shared why having your Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney in place is so important. None of us likes to think about the unexpected, but Chris explained how having the right legal documents prepared gives you peace of mind, knowing your wishes are clear and your loved ones will be protected when they need it most.

Buzzing Friday morning at BNI Ace!

It was fantastic to have visitors and subs in the room again – we always love making new connections.

Our education slot this week came from Carl, who talked us through the important difference between a lead and a warm referral and how we can make sure the referrals we pass are the right ones. Great reminders on how quality connections make all the difference.

We then heard a fantastic feature presentation from the lovely Michelle Wragg, sharing how she supports people through the mortgage process. Michelle has a particular speciality in helping first-time buyers and the self-employed, making what can often feel overwhelming much easier to navigate.

The 60-second round was particularly lively this week too… including an unforgettable Bohemian Rhapsody parody from Chris all about wills and legacy planning! 🎤 Safe to say, it brought plenty of smiles to the room.

Fantastic Friday morning at BNI Ace!

It was great to have a brilliant mix of substitutes and visitors in the room with us this week – and especially lovely to welcome Dawn Adlam back to visit us too.

A big thank you to Joanne Jinks for delivering this week’s education slot and sharing valuable insights with the group.

Our feature presentation came from Matt Lines who gave us an excellent update on the many ways he can support individuals and businesses with financial forecasting, planning, and investing. Matt explained how he has set packages but can tailor to each client’s specific needs – because no two financial journeys are ever the same.
