If you are looking to book Chapter 8 Signing, Guarding and Lighting Training look no further than Coram Training. Our local Parish Council needed to arrange Chapter 8 Training for the volunteers who help manage the SID (Speed Indicator Devices) in the area. We had heard good things about Coram and so we contacted them to book in training. Jenny was very helpful and informative, and the training was booked. On the day our Trainer was Stuart, who is kind, knowledgeable and approachable. The morning was spent on Theory, and then we went outside to practice setting up the 'Roadworks' with appropriate signs, barriers and traffic lights. It was most interesting! It made us realise just how much goes in to the preparation and setting up of highways roadworks (and the dismantling). With Stuart's patient and encouraging teaching style, we learned to set up everything as required, and in the correct order. In the afternoon there was a short online 'Open Book' examination, but we were aware of the particularly important sections of the Manual and so it was not impossible to find the correct answers! For any groups, employers or other organisations that need to train their operatives in Chapter 8, I would highly recommend Coram Construction Training. Neil and his Team are friendly and knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I had a most enjoyable day and learned a lot - more than I was expecting. Thank you to Coram! from CR😃

If you have ever been to the training centre for training or assessment then you may have been trained by one of our trainers. The truth is they are exceptional. They work incredibly hard and we (and the industry) are lucky to have them.

Perfect day for planting 900 daffodil bulbs! Had to call in the big guns for the stoney areas! Roll on the spring! It’s gonna look gorgeous!
