Tomorrow is the first day of September, and I don't know about you, but I'm feeling that seasonal fresh-start energy and excitement that has never left since my school days. I'm also feeling called to step it up and do things that maybe scare me a little, which in this case, is to talk about my VA business more than I do on here (which is to say, to talk about it at all!).
In case you didn't already know, I've combined my nearly two decades of PA experience, several years as a Yoga and Meditation Teacher, and endless levels of enthusiasm and cheerleading abilities into my current life as a Virtual Assistant. And by current, I mean to say I've now been doing this for a year and a half. Up until now, I've relied on word-of-mouth, however, I thought it might be time to start tooting my own horn a little bit as well. Insert: aforementioned scary things.
In a nutshell, my whole raison d'être is to help people create peace and space in both their business and life so they can focus on that which most lights them up, whether that's through my work as a VA or in guiding students in a yoga class. My greatest joy in life is helping others believe in themselves, to feel that anything is achieveable, and to support them to make their dreams a reality. Not what you expect from a VA? Well, I beg to differ.
Yes, the 'business support' side of things is a key component to this gig. However, over the years I've found that as someone's right-hand-wing-woman - be it a corporate manager or a freelance solopreneuer - the 'soft support' is actually just as important, if not more so. Same thing in yoga - come for the asana, stay for the headspace. It's the sort of support you didn't realize you needed so much until you have it. That's where I excel and that's what sets me apart.
Ask anyone who knows me - I am the ultimate cheerleader.
Also, ask anyone who knows me - brevity in writing is not my strong suit!
So, dear friends of Facebook, if you've made it this far, congrats! I hope it's made you think about what 'support' means to you, and what you feel would be most supportive to you at this moment in time. If that's VA support, or even just someone to cheer you on, perhaps I could be that person for you. If you know someone else who could use my help, please feel free to pass along my details. I've shared a link to how we can work together below (click the picture and it'll take you to my site).
In the meantime, I'd love to know what kind of support do you think would most benefit you right now? Share in the comments.
Sending peace, gratitude, and light your way!
