Well finds no. 9: a watch. Did it fall in the well just after 4 o’clock?

In archaeology we often use the things that people leave behind to build a picture of what life was like in the past. What ends up in a well tends to be a combination of things that were thrown in on purpose and those that fell in by accident, but can we be sure which one?

In the lead up to an amazing art installation being created in the Glasgow Cathedral Well by we’ll be sharing some items from our recent past that were found when the well was recently cleaned out.
