TWO Owlies 2 Hour odd job help in your local community. We cover Southampton and surrounding areas. How it started? You will not be discriminated against on any grounds.

in and land somewhere near yoooooutwitwooooo. We pride ourselves on the fact that we come with an uplifting and approachable demeanour; our feathers do not get easily ruffled. The visit in itself will probably brighten your day and we invite you to give us as much information as you feel possible, so that we know the circumstances in which our two hourly help will assist. We have

* DBS checks and are fully insured. We can help with

* help with letter writing formal/informal
* simple decorating
* rearranging rooms

We both have considerable experience of home-visiting in different capacities
in fact, ask us anything as if we don’t think we can help with a task we might know another Owlie who can...

Our service is simple: you can
* book one or both of us for a two hour slot
* block bookings are possible

Two Owlies was created from a moment of us realising that two hours can help, here and there, and are really useful to people being the perfect length to get an odd job done. Having helped a couple of friends with two hourly slots we decided that we are in fact the Two Owlies (hourlies- get it?) who can offer that helping hand if something is just a bit too daunting to tackle on your own. What an interesting article! Although it does seem funny that scientists have found a way to measure mess or clutter or in the words of the article ‘when your desk becomes unrecognisable’ . Ahem * shifts uneasily on seat* 🤣 my relationship with paperwork has hugely evolved thankgoodness.
I’d say it’s just easier to call Two Owlies for anything overwhelming you or a job you could be motivated to do with an extra bit of help.
Two Owlies can help you identify any ‘scene clogging objects’ aptly named by the article, or help with jobs you just want done.
Spring is edging our way. What would help you feel lighter/clearer in your space?

As you can see, we’re raring to go this week, well I am. 😄 I’m wondering how serious my dog is about helping with Two Owlies. Although the pillow case ( one of many gifts from other Owlie, does indicate this could be a theme I had overlooked). 🤣

Solar was my other Owlie today. We transformed this room that was scattered with boxes creating a lot of overwhelm for my friend who is in-between moving. All boxes had been put out the way in here and it was time to reclaim some serenity. I loved helping to create a relaxing space again for them.
Solar was a naughty Owlie, not focused on the job as he decided to escape at one stage. 🤨
Eternal thanks to Emma and Lucy ( I know no more) who spotted him out by the road and caught him. Wherever you are, you are guardian angels thankyou thankyou thankyou.

It’s that time of year when you might need a little hand with sorting out things, perhaps a feeling of overwhelm about those jobs you would love to get done to start the new year afresh. Hellooooo. It's time for an Owlie update to say that at the moment, we are not able to offer our usual service due to one Owlie needing a big rest and the other Owlie (me) with less availability in the week. The conclusion we came to is that we are not able to take on any New Customers right now. If you are already on our books as having had help from us before then you are welcome to get in touch, (we do have reserve Owlies) however no new projects or requests please. This solo Owlie can be really helpful with any overwhelming task so it is worth asking, however we are not able to fulfil our original offering as circumstances have changed. Thank you SO MUCH for all the enthusiasm and support for this owl-brained idea that we had sitting in my car one day, which led to much hilarity and ''omg, we have hit on something'' squawks (that was me) and we really enjoy being Owlies, we just need to step back on our perch for a while and see what the future holds. Have a great Summer friends and comrades !! ☀️🌼🌻🔥
