We’re looking for an Armed Forces Lead to help more veterans, reservists and service leavers discover the connection, camaraderie and sense of purpose that Men’s Sheds can offer.

In this role you’ll work with communities across the UK to support the creation of new Sheds, strengthen links with the Armed Forces community, and help existing Sheds become more accessible to those who have served.

It’s a chance to be part of a small, friendly team while making a real difference — helping more people find community through Sheds.

Some recent feedback from my new Paediatric First Aid at Work course:

Steve was very welcoming and professional and as such the course was very enjoyable and informative. The course covered a full range of medical conditions and emergency situations all of which were explained in full and discussed with us to ensure we were knowledgeable on the subjects. We then had a variety of hands-on training ending with cpr on both adult and child dummies including the use of a defibrillator. All in all I feel this course was very beneficial and I would highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this first aid training. Steve was incredibly knowledgeable and delivered the course with a friendly, approachable manner. Every topic was covered in detail, ensuring everyone felt confident and well-prepared by the end of the session

Excellent trainer! Very knowledgeable and made the session engaging and friendly. Covered everything that we needed to know and was willing and open to answer all questions we had.

This is newly written two day Paediatric First Aid at Work course done for a client specifically for staff working in a after school/ holiday club setting, covering all aspects of paediatric as well as adult first aid. As well as your certificate of completion you will also get a mini first aid kit, keyring mouth shield and detailed first aid booklet of the subjects covered. Happy New Year to you all! It's certainly a chilly one to begin the year isn't it. Well, the calendar is filling up & January is already chocker and the same with February. Still some spaces in March but that's filling up too - it's good to be busy and we appreciate it. Lots of positives to starting the new year.....apart from my waistline........🤣⚖️

Some recent feedback from an Emergency First Aid at Work course.....

Thank you, I have to say the trainer Steve was brilliant, didn’t feel like we was on a normal course, he made it very enjoyable and made it easy to absorb the information given, I now feel confident what I would need to do with an AED and what my responsibilities with one would be after use.
