Two years ago Mel and Tor were weighing up a choice most sailors know well. Keep repairing their sails, or invest in something that actually protects them long term.

They chose Marine Shield for their Lagoon 40’s mainsail and jib, plus a UV strip on the Genoa. Right now they’re crossing the Bay of Biscay in 46 degree heat. No red rain staining. Sails still looking brand new.

Before they left the UK a family emergency meant furling away some very wet sails for three weeks. When they finally got them back out, not a trace of mould or mildew.

Thats the kind of result that makes the investment worth it.

Over halfway through the year and Ocean Art has been busy on (and off) the water!
Here's our H1 round up.
- You'll have spotted our work flying by at speed this season! We've been branding jibs for SailGP teams and are proud sponsors of the series. Nothing beats seeing our branding hit 50 knots on the water!
We also took on a great project with DMS vinyl’s, helping to spread the word in aiming to highlight the damage plastic is doing to the oceans, something which we are very passionate about here. A special thank you to Dave Summers for this opportunity.
We also saw our clients parading there logos at Cowes Week taking photos and now landing them in our inbox Monday!
