We are delighted to have been part of Longleat's garden party weekend alongside our friends at The Hot Air Balloon Company, to launch Longleat's main 2026 event season with appearances from Simbaloo and Adelaide this weekend!

Balloonists, check your emails! We look forward to welcoming all those who applied to Longleat this year!

From 11 - 13 September, over 100 balloons of all shapes and sizes will return to Longleat once again for Icons of the Sky. Taking centre stage this year, and taking to the skies is Lonlgeat's Simbaloo and Adelaide!

On top of the balloons there will be an air display each day as well as all the usual park attractions including the Safari Park which is celebrating 60 years since it opened in 1966!

Slipstream Management Ltd are delighted to have been selected once again to provide technical provision and organisation of all aviation aspects for Longleat's Icons of the Sky 2026!

This unique event will include over 100 hot air balloons and special shapes, magnificent evening balloon night glows with a spectacular firework finale and exciting comprehensive air displays.

Icons of the Sky will take place on the 11th, 12th and 13th of September next year.

Applications for hot air balloons will open later this year.

Icons of the Sky 2025 - what a weekend! Despite the weather, we managed air displays, tethering, night glows and even a free flight today, plus a once in a lifetime opportunity of seeing Oggy standing on the steps of Longleat House, all alongside the usual park attractions!

We would like to thank our staff, the display pilots and crews and our balloon teams for putting on such a fantastic weekend of aviation!

With less than 3 weeks to go, it's time to meet the Icons of the Sky at Longleat this year!

For the air display we have a mix of warbirds, aerobatics, flying circus, aerial ballet and the worlds premier parachute team to entertain you this year for over 2 hours each afternoon!
