✨ Why we started Give Back Networking

In a world where networking can feel like a numbers game, we wanted to create something different: a space built on authentic connection, generosity and purpose.

At GBN, it’s not about what you can take from the room, but what you can give to it, whether that’s knowledge, encouragement or introductions.

We also believe in giving back to our members by creating space for real conversations and meaningful connections that last beyond the event.

Here are just some of the ways we brought that ethos to life at our Portsmouth launch:
💬 The chance to slow down, share ideas and build genuine relationships in small group networking

🚀 What a week!

In a few days we hosted two Give Back Networking launches:

The first in Portsmouth at the historic Keppel’s Head Hotel - a brand new group already off to a flying start with referrals happening in the room.

Then on Wednesday we hosted in Whiteley at the amazing Solent Hotel & Spa. Most of the members who have been with us for many months came along with a few more returning in November. And a few new faces!

The energy, the conversations and the connections were incredible. We saw real examples of networking with purpose, from sharing ideas to offering support and opportunities.

GBN is more than one event. With memberships you can attend in Portsmouth, Whiteley, or both, creating authentic connections while giving back to The Lark Network and The Genie's Wish. 💛

At our Portsmouth launch, we are proud to be supporting The Lark Network CIC, a local non-profit dedicated to helping women start and grow their own businesses.

✨ Lark creates inclusive spaces where women can build confidence, develop new skills and connect with others who understand the challenges of entrepreneurship.

🌿 From monthly meetups like Startup Sunday and Lark Lunch Break to workshops, retreats and online resources, they focus on empowering women and their businesses to take flight and thrive.

On Monday 6 October, 6:30 to 8:30pm, we’ll be launching Give Back Networking in one of Portsmouth’s most historic hotels.

Built in 1779, the Keppel’s Head Hotel is just a short walk from the Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays and the harbour. With its mix of period charm and modern comfort, it’s the perfect setting for authentic connections.
