Have you ever noticed there's one thing that's guaranteed to happen at every Bos Locker...? 🥐😂

Grace makes a beeline for the pastries.

We've started to wonder whether the networking is just an excuse... because we all know the real reason she comes each month is to beat Kim to them! 🤣

Sorry Grace... the evidence has been building for months and we finally had to share it.

And yes, before anyone asks, the men at Bos Locker are equally welcome to fight Grace for the pastries. 😂

Something we've really enjoyed seeing is what happens after Bos Locker finishes.

People start following each other's businesses, recommending each other when someone asks for a local supplier, meeting up for coffee outside of Bos Locker, or simply checking in to see how things are going.

None of that was something we sat down and planned.

We wanted to create a morning where business owners could spend time working on their business, get support, create content and meet other local people.

Seeing those relationships carry on long after everyone has packed up has been a lovely bonus.

It's a reminder that sometimes giving people the time and space to get to know each other is all it takes.

We recently received this message and it sums up exactly why Emma and I created BOS Locker.

Yes, it’s about meeting other business owners, coworking and getting out of your usual working environment. But it’s also about having access to real marketing support and leaving with ideas you can actually put into action.

The simple answer is because it's one of the first jobs business owners put off.

It's easy to tell yourself you'll film something next week, update your website tomorrow or finally get round to posting when things quieten down.

The problem is, they rarely do.

By having content creation built into the morning, it actually gets done.

You already know you've set the time aside. You're surrounded by people cheering you on, and you've got us there to help if you get stuck or need a bit of encouragement.

Some people arrive with a full plan. Others haven't got a clue what they want to film until we start chatting.

Both are absolutely fine.

The important thing is that people leave with content they're happy to share, rather than another task still sitting on their to-do list.

We’re officially in the second half of 2026… how’s business looking? 👀

If the year is flying by and some of those plans you made back in January have been pushed further and further down the list, September is a pretty good time to put your business back at the top.

Bos Locker is back on Wednesday 2nd September at Cherrywood Kitchen in Southampton, bringing everything together in one morning. Time to make new connections, work on your business, get support from us, capture some fresh content and actually make progress on the things that are so easy to put off when you’re busy doing the day-to-day.

People sometimes ask how Bos Locker started.

We'd only actually known each other for about six months.

We met at a local networking event, got chatting and realised we were both looking for something that didn't seem to exist.

We loved meeting other business owners and making those connections, but we also wanted to leave feeling like we'd achieved something for our own businesses rather than racing back afterwards trying to catch up on work.

There were plenty of networking events, coworking spaces, marketing sessions and content days. We just couldn't find anywhere that brought all of those things together.

So I approached Grace and said, "I think we should do it."

One conversation turned into another and, before we knew it, we were organising our first Bos Locker.

Funny how quickly an idea can become reality when two people are on the same wavelength.

Our next Bos Locker is heading to the gorgeous Cherrywood Kitchen in Southampton and we’re SO excited for this one.

On Wednesday 2nd September we’ll be taking over this amazing space for a morning of networking, coworking, content and marketing support, giving you everything you need to put your business first as we head into the second half of the year.

If you’ve been meaning to come along to Bos Locker, this is a pretty good one to start with. And if you’ve joined us before, you already know how much can come from spending a morning in the room.

The conversations, the connections, the ideas, the content, the things you finally get ticked off… and plenty of coffee along the way. ☕️

If you've never been to Bos Locker before, you might be wondering what actually happens.

The morning always starts the same way. We make a drink, grab a pastry and spend some time chatting before anyone even thinks about opening a laptop.

That first part is important to us because it gives everyone a chance to get to know each other properly. Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, nobody walks into a room where everyone already seems to know each other.

Once everyone's settled, people get on with whatever they need most that day. Some are working through their to-do list, some are filming content with us, and quite often people end up helping each other, sharing ideas or making introductions without anyone forcing it.

That balance is exactly what we wanted Bos Locker to be.

A productive morning, without it ever feeling like hard work.
