When Grace and I first talked about Bos Locker, we spent a lot of time thinking about what we'd actually want from a morning like this ourselves.

We wanted time to work, people to bounce ideas around with and somewhere we could get content done without having to figure everything out alone.

What we didn't plan was the community that's grown around it.

People who met at Bos Locker now recommend each other's businesses, buy from each other, collaborate, carry on supporting each other online and genuinely look forward to catching up again the following month.

We've watched people walk into their first session nervous about knowing nobody and then arrive a few months later knowing half the room.

That part has happened completely naturally, and we wouldn't want to manufacture it even if we could.

We might have created Bos Locker, but the people who keep showing up are the ones who've made it feel like Bos Locker.

You don't have to become a Bos Locker member to find out whether it's for you.

A one-off ticket is £55 and gives you the full 2.5-hour morning with us.

We'll start with some relaxed, casually structured networking so you actually get the chance to meet everyone rather than having to work the room yourself.

Then you'll have around two hours to work on your business, including dedicated time with either Emma or Grace. You can use that for filming content, coming up with ideas, talking through your marketing or getting support with something you've been stuck on.

And because there are only 15 places, it's small enough for us to actually get to know the people in the room and their businesses.

Our next Bos Locker is actually our last for 2026!
Wednesday 4th November at Moxy Hotel Southampton, from 9.30am–12pm.

✨ Meet Our Member | Carrie from Hampshire Architect ✨

We’re so pleased to welcome the lovely Carrie as a Bos Locker member!

Based in Netley Abbey, Carrie helps homeowners across southern Hampshire work out how to make their homes work better for them. Whether that means extending, changing the layout or deciding whether to move or improve, she helps people understand their options and find a practical way forward.

Sometimes you know something isn’t working in your home, but you can’t quite see how to change it. Perhaps the kitchen feels cramped, the rooms don’t flow or you’d love more natural light. Carrie works through those ideas with you, helping you explore what’s possible with your space and budget.

As a mum of two, she understands that a home needs to work for the people living in it. Her approach involves sitting around the kitchen table, sketching ideas together and talking through what would make a difference for your family.

We’re delighted to have Carrie as part of the Bos Locker community and look forward to supporting her and her business. 💛

This Months event was held at Parsons Collar in Whiteley. It was such a cosy area we loved it and the pastries were on point!

More importantly we had some FAB new business owners join us and one new member (keep your eyes peeled to see who they are this week)

Taking a morning away from work can feel like the last thing you should be doing when you're already busy.

But there's a difference between taking time away from your business and taking time to actually work on it.

It's incredibly easy to fill a week with client work, emails, appointments, orders and everything else that needs doing, while your own marketing, ideas and plans sit at the bottom of the list.

That's why we protect a few hours for Bos Locker every month too.

Sometimes you need to get out of your usual environment, put the day-to-day work down and give yourself permission to concentrate on the business itself.

You might finally film the content that's been sitting on your list, work through an idea, get another opinion on your marketing or have a conversation with another business owner that takes your thinking somewhere completely different.

Those 2.5 hours aren't time away from your business.

They're time spent on the bits of it that don't always shout loudly enough to get your attention.

Before everyone arrives, it's usually pretty quiet.

The coffee's on, the pastries are out, the tripods are being set up and we're making sure everything's ready for the morning ahead.

It's one of our favourite parts of the day because we know it won't be long before the room is full of conversations, ideas, laughter and plenty of people finally getting those jobs done that have been sitting on the to-do list for weeks.

Now... all that's left to do is convince Grace that tripods aren't out to get her. 😂

A recent Bos Locker conversation started with LinkedIn and ended up becoming a much bigger conversation about where that business should actually be spending its marketing time.

We looked at who they wanted to reach, where those people were most likely to be and which platforms deserved more of their attention.

Because creating completely different content for every platform isn't always necessary.

Sometimes duplicating content somewhere is absolutely fine because you simply want to maintain a presence there. Somewhere else might need a much more considered strategy because that's where your potential leads actually are.

That's what we mean when we say you get time with either Emma or Grace during Bos Locker.

It isn't a prescribed session where everyone gets the same advice. One person might want us to film content with them, somebody else needs ideas and another might bring a marketing question that turns into a completely different conversation once we start digging into it.

You bring the thing that's relevant to your business.

We use the time on that.

Sometimes, getting out of your usual surroundings is exactly what you need to make progress in your business.

On 7th October, BOS Locker is heading to Parsons Collar in Whiteley for a relaxed morning of coworking, networking and practical marketing support.

There are no formal pitches or awkward introductions. Just a friendly group of business owners, space to get some work done and plenty of opportunities for natural conversations and new connections.

You can also choose between a 15-minute content session or 15 minutes of marketing support with Emma and me (Grace), depending on what would be most useful for you right now.
