Project Study: ArtsLan Urban

Inox was approached by Intalek to value-engineer this project, the lighting specification having been written in Germany and including products not readily available in the UK. Described as a “Medical Gym”, The project itself is a prestigious and exclusive private health club and medical centre in Central London, run by Lanserhof for The Arts Club.

Working with Intalek and the lighting designers, Tropp, we were able to provide a design very much in keeping with the original concept, but at a much-reduced cost. Central to the design was care over colour temperature and rendering, output, and controllability.

Inox also worked on engineering some of the trickier parts of the original concept; in particular, the custom chandeliers and the effects lighting to the changing rooms (the latter involving a backlit Corian ceiling and concealed gobo projectors).
