A vacancy has arisen for a Yard Operative to work in our busy skip waste recycling yard in Southend Stock Road…
Must be able to reliably commute, as no acces to frequent public transport.
We do require a drug / alcohol test

We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and honest person.

Must be able to work as part of a team and have initiative.

This is an outside job, and will be required to work in all weathers

Steal toe cap boots are required

General duties include:

Sorting of waste manually

Yard cleansing

Vehicle and plant cleansing

Traffic Management

Full training provided.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00 and Saturday mornings from 07:00 - 12:00. Please do not apply if you cannot work Saturdays.

Monday to Friday

1 hour total break per day (two 30 minute breaks)

Saturdays

7am till 12pm

one 15 minute break.

Upholstered Domestic Seating that contains POP’s

Waste domestic seating is any item of seating of a household type from households or businesses that is waste. Upholstered domestic seating may contain POP’s. This includes any part made of/or containing leather, Synthetic leather, other fabrics or foam.

These items will now incur additional charges.
