Life is never going to be perfect, lots of things can get in the way of a good day; the traffic was bad and made you late for work, you spilt coffee on your white shirt or you get stuck in a meeting that's over run...All these things can lead us into a spiral of negative thoughts affecting our whole mood and day. But negative thinking is not going to change anything. So try turning around your thoughts, yes the traffic may be bad, but if there's nothing you can do about it try and use that time to listen to some music and relax. Try and accept the imperfections of life and recognize difficulties for what they are, but also try to focus on the positive aspects of the situation. So when problems arise, trust that you'll be okay and good things will happen.
