Supporting Local Families Through The Uniform Hub 👕🎒

The EFT Foundation is proud to have recently donated a range of back-to-school essentials to The Uniform Hub, helping local families prepare for the new school year.

Nicola and her wonderful team at The Uniform Hub, redistribute pre-loved school uniforms across Southport, helping to reduce the financial burden of school clothing costs while also preventing perfectly good items from going to waste.

The initiative supports families across the community without barriers or referrals. We've been proud partners of this brilliant initiative for over a year, and we've seen first-hand the incredible impact it has on local families.

At the EFT Foundation, we believe that every child should start the school year with confidence, regardless of their family's circumstances. Supporting practical initiatives like The Uniform Hub helps ensure that children have access to the essentials they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

A huge thank you to Nicola and her team, whose passion, dedication, and tireless work continue to make a real difference across our community. We think what they do is absolutely fantastic and are delighted to play a small part in supporting their mission.

At the EFT Foundation, we're passionate about investing in opportunities that help young people develop their skills, confidence, and ambitions. Supporting this event was a natural fit for us, providing a platform for talented young musicians to showcase their abilities, gain valuable experience, and be recognised for their hard work and dedication.
The standard of performances was truly inspiring, and it was fantastic to see so many young people sharing their passion for music with the community.

🧡 Supporting Our Veterans – The Forcer Protocol

At EFT, we’re proud to support initiatives that help protect and support our Armed Forces community.

The Forcer Protocol is a UK-wide initiative designed to help locate missing veterans, reservists and serving military personnel by giving police rapid access to vital personal information when it matters most.

Serving and veteran military colleagues can pre-share important details such as health conditions, triggers, safe places and other relevant information. If they are ever reported missing, this information can help police speed up the search and ensure the right support is provided.

The Forcer Protocol was born from lived experience and has been developed with UK forces and veterans in mind. It is now rolling out nationwide with support from the National Police Chiefs’ Council.

🚀 A Huge Thank You for Helping Deliver an Incredible Apprentice Induction Week! 🚀

We welcomed our newest cohort of apprentices to the EFT Group, and we wanted to take a moment to thank the many suppliers, manufacturers and training partners who helped make it one of the best induction weeks we've ever delivered.

Starting a career in the fire and security industry can be daunting, so giving our apprentices the opportunity to engage with the people, products, technologies and organisations that help shape our sector is invaluable. Your support, generosity and enthusiasm have made a real difference and helped set them up for success from day one.

👏 Special thanks to:

🔹 Sarah Knight & Mark Hadfield at Edmundson Electrical for providing tool bags and lunch for the apprentices. A thoughtful gesture that was greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

🔹 Andrea and the team at Ansell for hosting a fantastic factory tour, product overview session and lunch, giving our apprentices a great insight into the world of emergency light technology.

🔹 Michelle O'Reilly and the team at Orisec for an excellent training session, factory tour and lunch. A brilliant experience and an opportunity for our apprentices to learn from one of the industry's leading manufacturers.

🔹 Emma Francinoli and the Fire Industry Association (FIA) for providing an engaging introduction to the industry, including a tour of the FIA facilities, breakout sessions and an immersive VR experience.

🔹 Skills for Security for welcoming our apprentices to the college, providing tours of the facilities and giving them the opportunity to meet the tutors who will support them throughout their apprenticeship journey.

🔹 Rob Guyers and ADI Global Distribution for supplying tool kits to help equip our apprentices as they begin their careers.

🔹 Danny Kelly and the team at CSL for sorting some fantastic CSL merchandise for the apprentices and helping them feel part of the wider industry community.

The collaboration and support shown across the industry demonstrates exactly what makes the fire and security sector so special. Together, we're investing in the next generation of engineers and professionals, helping them build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for successful careers.

From everyone at EFT Group, thank you for helping us give our apprentices such an unforgettable start to their journey.

Following the success of our annual EFT Family Fun Day, we were delighted to present Centre 56 with a donation of £1,000, made possible through the generosity of our colleagues and supporters, with the £500 raised from our raffle being kindly matched by our new business partner, HBS.

Alongside the cheque presentation, we were also pleased to donate food and essential supplies to the charity's Rainbow Room, which provides families with access to food, clothing and everyday essentials when they need them most. With the school summer holidays creating additional pressures for many households, we hope this contribution will help make a positive difference.

The EFT Foundation team left feeling truly inspired by the amazing work being led by Alex Rigby and the entire Centre 56 team. Their passion, commitment and unwavering support for vulnerable children and families across Liverpool is nothing short of remarkable.

This visit is only the beginning. We're already exploring further opportunities to support Centre 56 and the fantastic work they do within our communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the Family Fun Day raffle, to HBS for their generous match funding, and to the Centre 56 team for the warm welcome and the life-changing work you carry out every day.

⚽️ EFT Foundation FC vs Mersey Mindset Charity Team ⚽️

What a fantastic game and a brilliant occasion for everyone involved!

The match was fiercely contested from the first whistle to the last, with both teams showing incredible determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. We're delighted that EFT Foundation FC came out on the right side of the result, but the real winners were everyone who took part and supported such a great cause.

A huge thank you to the team at Mersey Mindset, whose work helps men improve their mental health and wellbeing through community, connection and physical activity. The passion and commitment shown both on and off the pitch was outstanding.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved for making it such an enjoyable and competitive match. It was played in the right spirit, with plenty of quality football and a healthy rivalry throughout.

We're already looking forward to the rematch! 👊⚽
