Lot 220 - Victorian Red Cross uniform

Nurse's Red Cross uniform dating from the late 1880's/1900's. The dress has a stand-up collar, is gathered at the waist centre back and has a train. This was worn with a small bustle, included. Uniform dates from the late 19th early 20th century. The design is from the transitionary period. Missing the belt however is an original nursing uniform of the 1890's Boer War period to the start of WW1. The lot includes stiped ticking dress labelled Faulkner Red Cross pinafore. Cuffs with matching buttons, buttonholes, cotton headdress that needs to be pinned. Size M/L.
