*** LOTTING FEE ANNOUNCEMENT ****
Here at JH Auctions, we’ve been established for nearly 5 years now and we’ve just recently had our 250th auction!
Through all this time, we’ve never increased any of our commission or lotting fees as we want to be as fair as possible to all our lovely customers.
Unfortunately, with the rising costs of pretty much everything in the industry, we are making one very small change to allow us to remain competitive within the market place.
FROM THE 1st OCTOBER 2026, our lotting fee will change from 50p plus VAT to £1 plus VAT. Basically costing 50p plus VAT extra to sell a lot with us.
This isn’t us being greedy at all. This small extra will just about amount to the increased costs we’ve had as a business (fuel costs, motor running costs, energy costs, staff wages & pension costs, the delightful taxes - the list really does go on!)
