Why is it important to get a professional floor layer? 🤔

LVT is one of the most popular floorcoverings on the market and its success relies entirely on the sub floor beneath it.

On this recent project fitting Textures UK we had to grind away the existing smoothing compound put down by another tradesman as it was weak and powdery due to too much water being present in the mix.

Had we stuck the LVT to the existing smoothing compound the product would have lifted due to the bond failing.

Getting the right advice is crucial to your floorcoverings being installed correctly and standing the test of time.
