It has been lovely having everyone back after their holidays ☀️

We had a lovely morning at Shugborough, following their story trail, measuring ourselves against their sunflowers 🌻 and seeing the animals.

On Thursday we met up with some other childminding friends and enjoyed a walk around Marquis Drive, a play on the park and learning about the local wildlife at the visitors centre 🦌🦡🦊 We also spotted some deer on the way home 🦌

This week we have enjoyed taking part in our very own sports morning with races and fun activities to try, a trip to Forest School and today we visited the Red Lion Ice Cream Farm where we fed the animals and enjoyed a delicious ice cream 🍦🐄🐑🐐🐓

More of our May topics!

During our frog life cycle topic we watched our tadpoles grow into froglets, coloured in our frog pictures and enjoyed some messy play with the frogs and lily pads 🐸

We are eagerly watching our beans grow to see if they can reach the castles after reading Jack and the Beanstalk and planting the beans 🫘 🌱

The Hungry Caterpillar gave us the opportunity to try new fruits, practice our threading and we even got to see some real caterpillars in their chrysalis 🐛🦋
