More of our May topics!

During our frog life cycle topic we watched our tadpoles grow into froglets, coloured in our frog pictures and enjoyed some messy play with the frogs and lily pads 🐸

We are eagerly watching our beans grow to see if they can reach the castles after reading Jack and the Beanstalk and planting the beans 🫘 🌱

The Hungry Caterpillar gave us the opportunity to try new fruits, practice our threading and we even got to see some real caterpillars in their chrysalis 🐛🦋

Last week we were very lucky to have a day at The County Show. My two were off school and we took two little ones with us who loved seeing all of the animals and watching the displays 🐎🐄🐖🐏🐕🐥

We are very lucky to live so close to Shugborough and be able to enjoy the space, history and animals. Their highlight was definitely the tiny lamb with a jumper on 🐥 🐑🐓🦢🐖🐄

Yesterday we learnt about sunflowers 🌻 with our friends. We painted sunflowers using our hands, read a story about growing sunflowers, explored the yellow playdoh, built our own flower gardens and even planted our own sunflowers 🌻

Yesterday we learnt all about bees! We enjoyed making bees out of playdoh and paint, pouring and scooping the yellow and black rice, building flowers, reading bee stories and even trying some honey 🍯
We look forward to carrying on this topic, exploring more about bees and other insects 🐝

We have enjoyed welcoming our friends back after the Easter break.
We celebrated Easter and made lots of crafts for our families including bonnets, painted eggs, cards and having an Easter egg hunt 🐰🐣
