Been a busy old month for me and AT piano services.Manchester,Liverpool,London, Kendal, Stoke,Stafford, Bolton, Sheffield, Derby, Llandudno, and Milton Keynes.

I’m taking tomorrow off..piano tuning returns after the bank holiday!

Full of cold, head banging, lungs on fire and I arrive at a new tuning customer. I’m greeted by a light mahogany almost cherry coloured upright piano..up on opening the fall I find the name Schimmel proudly beaming out for all to see.. my cold suddenly feels quite a bit better, my ears open up and the Schimmel 116 C opens up to reveal some beautiful craftsmanship and an all round beautiful fully rounded sound.. It’s almost like I’ve got a 88person choir singing back to me. To add to the joy, upon checking the pitch of the piano, she’s is sat at 439.2hz on arrival and will be sat nicely at 441 when I depart.

One of my favourite makes of piano and to top it off, it’s from a very well known piano shop in Manchester.

A very proud day for me personally. Today my hire piano went out for her first concert event.
A very emotional and delightful evening held at a small but impressive church, full of friends and the voice of Elinor Jane Moran accompanied by the very talented Ian MacMillan.

Had the pleasure of attending a water damaged Bosendorfer today. 3hours of finger ache cleaning, damper regulation and a tuning and shes escaped with little to no lasting damage!I love my job..ahem..paid hobby!🎹😁🎹😁💛
