Oliver and Edgar took a trip to the Big Smoke a couple of weeks ago. Oliver had the opportunity to take a tour around backstage at Drury Lane Theatre and had a look at the Barbican. It was a looooonnnnggg day, but worth the experience!!!

We were delighted to be visited by our wonderful friend Lynda Duncan, whom both Damian and Jon B worked alongside during their time aboard cruise ships. Lynda, whose vast experience stands her in great stead, now recruits for the cruise industry and she is currently awaiting the publication of her training books specifically aimed at that sector. Lynda came to look around our studio and offices with a view to using them for training purposes.

North Star Engineers Ltd look forward to welcoming Lynda again hopefully in the not too distant future.

We are excited to tell you about our new venture .... NORTH STAR PROSTUDIO!! The team has been busy readying our newly acquired premises next door to NSE. With all the areas needed to record high quality sound for top musicians and the offer of gift recording for a loved one, the Studio caters magnificently for each music genre and will be ready soon. On his way home from Silver Nova, Edgar travelled through the Tauern Road Tunnel in Salzburg. Over 4 miles long, the tunnel is one of the most used in Austria. It became infamous in 1999 when an accident, caused a fire, deaths and injuries and closed the tunnel for 3 months.
