Not 15 minutes scrolling. Not 15 minutes collapsing into the sofa. But 15 intentional minutes just for YOU.

Monday: 15-min walk (alone)
Tuesday: 15-min hobby time
Wednesday: 15-min stretch or yoga
Thursday: 15-min reading for pleasure
Friday: 15-min whatever brings you joy

Small pockets of time can create massive shifts. You’re worth 15 minutes.

One of these easiest ways to see what might be going on with your little ones sleep, is to keep a log.

1. Wake ups
2. Total sleep
3. Diet
4. Mood
5. Activities (indoor/outdoor)

You might spot a theme and small tweaks could be all you need to resolve your sleeps issues.

Ps don’t forget sleep isn’t perfect for adults and sometimes our little ones have those restless nights too. Try to stay consistent and not to introduce any habits which you don’t want to keep long term.

Is your little one is struggling staying in bed, delay tactics or generally not happy about you leaving?

One tip to help, is to co-create a bedtime routine. Doing this together and getting them to list the bedtime steps and remember what they do is a great way to make them ‘own’ the rules.

Make sure when after you’ve written down the steps and include at the end…
1. Close eyes
2. (Insert name) goes to sleep

You also need a couple of bullets of what not to do… For example:
1. Do not get out of bed
2. No talking / shouting
3. Stay in bed until XYZ
