Aviation Security Duty Manager
SES Aviation are now recruiting for permanent Aviation Security Duty Manager.

You will need to have a passion for this service, will care enough to make a difference to a passenger’s day and will take a real pride in everything they do for all our customers.
As an Aviation Duty Manager, you will be working with clients within general (private) aviation industry where the customers enjoy an exceptional experience and with every flight a unique and tailor fit to suit their VIP and CIP demands. No two days will never be the same.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for:
· Carrying out all aspects of aviation duties, including body searching, bag searching and x-ray screening as well as carrying out arrange of supervisory duties.
· Leading and managing allocated team.
· Liaising with clients and FBO staff on flight details and briefing this to the team.
· Ensuring all legislation changes are fully understood to provide the best support to the team.
· implementation of procedures, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and embedding best practices.
· Leading on the management of schedule and bookings – providing out of hours coverage and be available on call as part of rotation of duties with your peers.
· Carrying out admin tasks where required.
Successful applicants must also be flexible for 24/7 operations which include unsociable hours and weekends. Full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing and leading a team of 10
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an Aviation Security role
· Excellent organisational and admin skills
· Excellent IT skills - in various software’s and to pick up new systems easily
· Excellent client relationship experience
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Good understanding of the aviation security regulations
CTC and DBS to be carried out
5-year full background history
Lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years

Shift pattern: Full-time on flexible hours contract, 4 on 4 off, 11-hour shifts based at Stansted.
