Experience is earned. Knowledge is shared. The next generation is our responsibility. 👊

Passing the knowledge on.

A trainee rigger learning the trade out on site. Just to the left, a hand belonging to an experienced rigger with decades in the industry behind him.

One just beginning their journey. One with a lifetime of knowledge and experience.

This is how our industry moves forward. Through mentoring, sharing knowledge, and taking the time to help the next generation develop the skills, confidence and understanding they need to become the experts of tomorrow.

Because being good at your job isn't just about what you know. It's about what you're willing to pass on.

👋 It’s not goodbye, it’s see you on the next job!

Looking back to last week, when we gathered for lunch to say farewell to Joe Howard as he left Rigging Team to return to the world of freelance rigging.

His leaving drinks have been slightly postponed thanks to a last-minute job that came in – a fitting reminder that in live events, plans can change at a moment’s notice! 🍻

Thankfully, it’s not a complete goodbye, as Joe will still be involved with some of our projects, so we’re sure our paths will continue to cross.

Wishing Joe all the very best back out in the freelance world. Thanks for everything, Joe, and see you on site soon!

We were delighted to attend the opening night of Into the Woods at the Noël Coward Theatre last night.

Having undertaken all of the production rigging for the original production at the Bridge Theatre, Rigging Team were well placed to support the show as it made its move into the West End.

Our work included the installation of multiple FOH and over-stage trusses supporting lighting, sound and projection equipment, together with rigging provisions for the show automation system provided by Absolute Motion Control Ltd.

It’s always rewarding to see a project we’ve been involved with from its original production go on to a new venue and a new chapter.

Congratulations to the entire cast, creative and production teams on a fantastic opening night – and best wishes for the West End run!

🚀 Performer Flying | Karan Aujla UK Tour

Last night, our specialist Performer Flying team were at the Utilita Arena Birmingham for the opening date of Karan Aujla’s UK tour.

Using our Moveket GmbH automation system, paired with our bespoke performer flying track system, we flew Karan up from below the stage and out over a capacity audience — much to the delight of his fans!

It’s always fantastic to see our specialist team and automation systems come together to create a moment like this, combining precision engineering, experienced personnel and meticulous planning to deliver a safe and spectacular performance.

Next stops: The O2 Arena, London and Co-op Live, Manchester. 🎤

A huge thank you to our brilliant team on site and everyone involved in making the opening night such a success.
