United Auctions Huntly on 16th June 2026 Sold 489 Prime Sheep.
New Season Lambs (158) averaged 425p per kg to 479p per kg for a 43kg Texel from Drumburn, Keith and to £214 gross for 51.6kg Texel from Wester Coltfield, Forres.
Old Season Lambs (174) averaged 314p per kg to 379p per kg for a 36.4kg Beltex from Tullyglens, Farm, Dunphail and to £222 gross for 84kg Texel from Barflat, Rhynie.
Spring lambs once again hitting the high notes with trade hitting 479p per kg for 43kg Texels from Drumburn, Keith. An end of season show of hoggs were still in demand with hoggs regularly making over £150. Ewes were also in demand, with a texel ewe from 84 Land Street, Rothes making £295 and blackface ewes topping at £145 from Leys Farm, Tarland.
