However, malicious content is currently affecting any positive trajectory of the internet. At ACCS, we make sure that age check systems work. After our children's screen-time has increased 1.5 times since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, internet safety is more important now than ever before. The UK Government suggests that the will make our country one of the safest in the world for children online. Does it go far enough? This , ACCS are calling for all tech companies to go that one step further to ensure their age verification systems work, and our children feel protected online.

As children’s safety and privacy online becomes a matter of increasing urgency, lawmakers around the world push ahead on new rules in the digital realm.
