Sometimes with pest you have to think outside the box this job was thinking inside the box 👀🤔
Not what you want to see when looking for entry points of mice getting into a property.This is the external electric cabinet and the black cable is the main supply to the building which have chewed the outer coat of plastic along with the base to the cabinet and another small redundant wire is down to the cable.
The mice have obviously used this route for a period of time to gain access into the building where the resident was hearing scratching between floors.
Traps were set and five mice have been caught in two days the blue powder is tracking dust so we can monitor for any further activity.
There are plans in place to have the electric checked the holes blocked and a new cabinet is on order.

Signs of a large rat infestation in the roof space of an apartment above some shops.
wires droppings shredded loft insult and an overpowering smell of urine.
Externally it is hard to determine exact entry points due to the amount of clutter around and the shops all having different owners. But one possible small hole was located and is going to get cemented.

The plan to use traps over poison to minimalise the risk of the smell of rotting carcasses contaminating the shops and flat.

in a kitchen, the customer had another company try and solve the infestation they made suggestions that the rats were coming from the drains and a survey would be needed to add to this they then put 2 trays of rat bait under the kickboards in the kitchen and told the customer to ring them if they wanted a revisit
Country Solutions Pest Control Stockport was recommended to the customer and a full inspection of the premises was carried out, 5 mins into the inspection and the rats ingress point was found in the garage, with the rats gaining access to the under floor void through a hole in the wall. Further inspection revealed rat droppings in the an area that had not been looked at by the previous contractor.

The plan of action was as simple as setting traps in the garage and the loft.

The following day a rat was found on one of the traps in the loft this was removed and the trap reset. 3rd visit traps checked and no further evidence, the customer also reported that they hadn't heard of anything for a few days. Holes blocked traps left in place just to be sure. Final visit to remove the traps job done and a happy customer.
We may not number 1 on Google search but come highly recommended which is something to be proud of.

One of the rarer jobs, a large infestation of Harlequin lady birds invading a summer house.
The homeowner has been vacuuming them for weeks but they just kept appearing. Mainly due to them coming out of hibernation.
A residual insecticide was sprayed into all the internal crevices of the timber framed building, once this was carried out insecticide smoke bombs were let off to clear any other bugs 🐞 that had been missed.
The is none native to the uk and is increasing in numbers fast, they are a predator to the uk ladybird and a slowly wiping out the native population.
