This weeks works consisted of a few days working in a Carbon Factory, everywhere I’ve touched is covered in black dust including my house which the wife’s not impressed with 🤣

Todays work included a site visit to install a fire panel and connect up the power and fibre link in order to have the system connected to the existing onsite fire system.
Now to install the cabling and detection in the coming weeks to allow the commissioning to begin.
Big big job with lots of challenging cable routes.
Wish me luck 🤣

Standalone Door Access System installed today on a Disabled WC in Redcar.
1 External Keypad/Reader for access
1 Maglock for locking of the door
1 Push To Exit button to open the door from the inside
1 Green Breakglass to break in case of an emergency exit.
**brick was blasted externally for the reader by others**
I enjoyed this little install but it was a nippy day by the coast 🥶🌊

This weeks works included external Access Control fitted to gates in a school. Door closers installed to
assist the gate closing.
Loved doing these and seeing the final results, customer was overjoyed at the quality of the install as well as the operation of the system.

Earlier in the week I was tasked to install Access Control to a Disabled WC in a local swimming complex. Very tricky as the WC was floor to ceiling ceramic tiles. Every hole drilled was done with care to prevent cracking the tiles.

Productive week and very happy with what I achieved.

Next week an extension to a Fire Alarm for a new client 👍🏻

I just want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Year.
Thank you to every old and new customers and to all the companies we’ve had the opportunity of representing this year.

We will be closing tomorrow early morning and return on Tuesday 2nd of January.

My phone will be on for all emergencies and support that you may need but I won’t be fully operational until the New Year.
Lucking forward to family time and a much needed break to recharge and go again.

One of last weeks installs a 4 Zone Fire Alarm System installed to a site in North Shields on behalf of a local company.
I enjoyed this one, I love a job with a bit of conduit containment. The challenge of making it look desirable against the odds. I always take pride in my work and its extremely rewarding receiving kind comments by the ones employing you and choosing you to represent them.

Great little install today, weather stayed fine too which always helps when working outside.
2 x 3K ColorVu Cameras with back boxes.
External cabling should always be contained and not clipped.
Proper installation, installed for the forever not the short term like some other cowboys.
