Every shop floor, reception desk and building entrance relies on someone who can read a situation before it escalates.

That’s what our security officers bring to every site they work on.

A friendly face at the door helps your customers feel welcome. A steady presence on the floor puts your team at ease.

So if something does go wrong, you’ve got someone on site who knows how to handle it.

Alongside security, we also look after the day-to-day running of your building through our facility management services, so you’ve got one team covering it all💪

Integrated Solutions. Total Protection.

Do you have anyone working alone at your business?

Cleaners, engineers, site managers, anyone opening up early or locking up late.

Four questions to ask:

1️⃣ Does someone know where each lone worker is right now?
2️⃣ What happens if they miss a check-in?
3️⃣ Can they raise an alarm quickly?
4️⃣ Do they know what to do if something feels wrong?

If the answers are vague, we provide a high-standard lone worker protection service.

Sort it before the days get darker:

5 minutes, 5 questions... walk your site and ask:

- Where could someone get in without being seen?
- Which areas are poorly lit?
- Who has keys or access, and when did you last check that list?
- Do gates and doors close and lock properly every time?
- What's visible from outside that someone might want?

If any answer makes you pause, we provide a free security survey and risk assessment as standard.

This week, the NexGroup team has been supporting the Turner Prize at Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art 🎨

We're proud to be part of such a significant event for our region. The Turner Prize is expected to attract 130,000 visitors, bringing significant footfall to Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.

The exhibition runs until 27th March, with the award ceremony taking place in December. If you get the chance, we'd encourage you to go along and see it for yourself.

You may have noticed we had a brand change recently...👀

But why?

Here's a few words from our Chief Operating Officer, Jordan👇

"As we have continued to grow and our services evolve to meet the ever-growing needs of our clients, we made the bold decision to move away from Next Level Security Group and rebrand as NexGroup.

Our new name and brand bring together our growing facilities management, training and technology systems under one identity, better reflecting the wider range of solutions we now provide.

This is an exciting time for the business as we continue to develop as an integrated solutions provider, delivering innovative, reliable and technology-led services to all our customers, both old and new."

- Jordan Lockwood | Chief Operating Officer

5 CCTV mistakes we see🫣

- Cameras pointing into low sun or glare
- Dark areas with no lighting to support the camera
- Nobody reviews the footage
- Recordings overwritten before you need them. Check how many days yours keeps
- No CCTV signage. If your cameras record people, clear signs should be up

Not sure how yours measures up? We offer a free site security survey.

When an alarm goes off at 2am, someone has to deal with it...⏰

For a lot of businesses, that someone is a member of staff getting a phone call in the middle of the night and driving to a site alone.

Our key holding service takes that off your hands🙌

We hold the keys, respond to the alarm, liaise with emergency services if needed, and handle boarding up if there's been a break-in, so nobody on your team has to do it themselves.

One less thing for you to manage out of hours.

Random patrols means real deterrence 👀

Predictable routines are exactly what intruders look for.

So we don't give them one🤛

Our mobile patrols are powered by our operational platform NexConnect, providing customers with visibility and assurance. Every attendance is electronically recorded, with reports submitted immediately upon completion.

Because real security means being watched, even when you're not there.
