Is cash relevant anymore?
More and more Businesses need the cash in the bank to pay its liabilities,so is cash in hand becoming scarce.
I’m not talking about using cash for trips to Monte Carlo 😵‍💫 by the way.
Cash is used to pay for food, school uniforms, Saturday clubs when you’re an owner of a SME.

Would the treasury prefer all of us to be a cashless society 😱

59000 SMEs have ceased trading since Christmas, we are not even at the end of the first quarter yet.
Those numbers could see as many as 333000 going to the wall in 2026.
Operating costs sighted as the main reason for closure.
Any one thinking of just giving up?
