MRD Multi Drop Delivery Franchise

MRD is a multi route franchise business established over 20 years. We are looking for Multi-Drop Delivery Driver’s to work on a Self Employed basis.

For this particular role, we are looking for people with their own insured van to make deliveries. You will be provided with company uniform and full training. You’ll be required to meet daily delivery and collection targets whilst maintaining service levels and representing the company brand professionally at all times. Your daily duties will consist of, scanning parcels, organising and loading deliveries onto van, delivering and collecting parcels.

Working hours can vary depending on the volume of work, but you’ll be expected to work Monday - Friday, and One weekend a month. With that in mind, as we approach our busier months, weekends might be essential.

What you’ll need

Your own insured van.
Experience of delivery driving is preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
A strong work ethic, the role is fast paced and physically demanding.
A customer focused mindset.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
The ability to pass a DBS check.
Full UK Driving license.

What you’ll get in return

Basic Salary: £100 per day + Bonus for an extra stops.
Full Training given along with consistent on-going support.
Being a part of a successful & fast growing team.
Full uniform (you must provide your own steel cap safety boots)
Pay is every 4 weeks.
The successful applicant will be required to provide the following documents upon start: -

UK Driving license (held for at least 12months & (Under 6 points)
Basic DBS check (Criminal Record Check can be applied for online)
Proof of address
Proof of national insurance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £80 to £100.00 /day

MRD is a multi route franchise business established over 20 years. Following our successful recruitment drive we are now seeking additional drivers. We are also recruiting for drivers who have their own van.

To be part of our team you must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, and be able to drive a 3.5 ton van. You must also have no more than six points on your licence and pass a basic level safeguarding check. You also are required to provide your own safety boots.

About the Role
This role is high pressure, time sensitive and physically demanding.
Responsibilities include :

• Vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.

• Keeping the vehicle clean inside and out, following covid - 19 measures.

• Scanning and loading the parcels on to the delivery vehicle.

• Delivering and collecting on a fixed ETA.

• Returning any undelivered and collected parcels to the depot, where they will be unloaded and placed in a designated area.

About You

When you're on the road, you'll need to be organised and we'll expect you to be an excellent ambassador for the brand.

With that in mind, the personal qualities you bring to the role will be every bit as important as your skills and attitude. You will need to be reliable, trust worthy and punctual. The applicant will have good communication skills and able to work well as part of a team.

No experience is necessary but previous multi drop experience is beneficial. Full training will be provided.

This is a self employed role, with payment every 4 weeks.

The last two months of the year are our busiest, even more so this year with everyone having to order Christmas presents online.
