Meet the day team behind RJ Lifts Limited’s Breakdown & Contact Centre! 📞🛠️

At RJ Lifts, our breakdown service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring our customers and engineers always have someone there when they need us.

Working at the heart of our breakdown operation, our Contact Centre handles incoming calls, logs and coordinates breakdowns, and passes jobs to the appropriate engineers across the country — keeping customers updated and engineers supported.

Investing in our people is investing in our future.

We’ve recently upgraded our training room at RJ Lifts Group Head Office in Stoke-on-Trent, creating a dedicated space where our engineers can get hands-on experience with a wide range of controllers, door operators, safety equipment, and lift systems.

From Otis, MP, DAC and Carlos Silva controllers to DMG simulators, Fermator, SELCOM and Wittur door equipment, our team now has access to practical training on the equipment they encounter every day in the field.

The lift industry never stands still, and neither do we.

A well-trained engineer is a confident engineer – and that’s good for our team, our business, and most importantly, our customers.

Behind every successful project, repair, installation and call-out is a person.

Engineering can be a rewarding career, but it can also be challenging. Long hours, pressure, responsibility and busy workloads can all take their toll on our mental wellbeing.

At RJ Lifts Group, we believe that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health. Creating a workplace where people feel comfortable talking, supported when they need help, and valued every day is something we’re committed to.

That’s why we’re proud to have two trained Mental Health First Aiders within our team:

This hydraulic passenger lift has been upgraded with a new DMG controller system, improving reliability, fault diagnostics and long-term performance.
