It's been a busy and varied start to the year. We are a small team brimming with expertise. It's taken hard work over decades for us to develop and hone our skill set and technical expertise to be able to offer such a wide range of ecological services. Although we specialise in bats 🦇, the photos below showcase some of the other things we do and have been up to since the start of the year.

Overseeing repair and reroofing of a large school building last month to ensure all roosting areas were searched prior to the start of winter hibernation. The building is used by Soprano Pipistrelles for maternity and day roosting. We located and safety moved two bats that day. The photos show the sorts of places bats tuck themselves into for roosting and demonstrate the need to take care during works. Works are being carried out under a Natural England bat licence and roosting areas will be recreated in the building so bats can continue using it for roosting once works are completed.
