Security & Fire Engineer – Trainee / Career Opportunity
ADB is a growing company looking for a reliable, hardworking and customer-focused person to join our team and develop a long-term career within the fire and security industry.
We’re looking for someone who already has a good work ethic, practical/site experience and strong customer service skills, but is now looking for the opportunity to learn a new trade and progress their career.
You don’t necessarily need previous Security & Fire experience. What matters most to us is your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
The role
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining practical experience in the installation, servicing and maintenance of Security & Fire systems. As your knowledge and confidence develop, you’ll be given more responsibility and the opportunity to progress within the company.
Being professional, polite and comfortable dealing with customers is essential.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing a job properly
• Has previous site, construction, or practical experience
• Is reliable, punctual and organised
• Has good customer service and communication skills
• Is confident working as part of a team but can also work independently
• Is practical and enjoys learning how things work
• Has a genuine interest in developing a long-term career
• Is comfortable working on different sites and travelling to customers
• Has a clean and professional approach to their work
• Holds a full UK driving licence
