We’ve been a little quiet on socials lately… but for a very good reason! 😅
A & A Plumbing and Heating has been incredibly busy behind the scenes, and unfortunately keeping our socials updated has taken a bit of a back seat! We promise we’re still here, just usually with our hands full! 😂

But this post isn’t just an “oops, we’ve neglected Facebook and Instagram” post… it’s also a Big Celebration post! 👏
Cruz joined us on 9th June 2025 as a Plumbing Engineer, but from the beginning he wanted to push himself further and become a Gas Engineer.
We were more than happy to support him, so we put him through his Gas Apprenticeship at college, and all that hard work has officially paid off! 🙌
We’re incredibly proud to say that Cruz has passed, and is now fully qualified and Gas safe registered! 🔥🔧
Over the time Cruz has been with us, he’s become so much more than just an employee, hes part of the A & A family, and we genuinely couldn’t be more prouder of him. ❤️

Watching him put the work in, push himself and achieve what he set out to do has been brilliant. Being able to support him along the way and give him the opportunity to progress in his career makes us incredibly proud too.
So while our socials might have been a little neglected… the team certainly hasnt been sitting still! 😂

🔧 Small jobs matter too 🔧

A Couple of Today’s jobs may have been small, but they make a huge difference to the customer’s day-to-day running and future maintenance 👌

✔️ Old Honeywell 2-port valve replaced and fully rewired with a new Drayton 2-port valve
✔️ Old seized stopcock repaired with new internals fitted, making water isolation much easier and avoiding unnecessary disruption.

Preventative repairs and upgrades like these can save a lot of stress further down the line 💧🔥

First job of the day — full boiler service and strip down 🔧

During the service we found a damaged seal, which meant the boiler had to be taken out of use for safety.

Unfortunately parts weren’t immediately available, so the appliance has been safely isolated and labelled until it can be repaired properly once the seal is available.

This is exactly why regular servicing is important — catching issues early and keeping everything running safely 👍

If your boiler hasn’t been serviced in a while, it’s always worth getting it checked.
