We recently welcomed Ellie to the Anelec team, and she's already made a great impression.

We asked Ellie what her favourite part of the job is, and she said:

“The people, 100%. Everyone's so welcoming, and it's just such a good atmosphere. I feel like I'm always learning something new, there's never really a dull moment, which keeps things exciting.”

Our new partnership with Middlesbrough Council 🙌🏼

We're pleased to share that we've successfully completed our first month delivering electrical maintenance services for Middlesbrough Council.

As part of this new contract, our team has been carrying out electrical testing and maintenance works across council properties, ensuring sites remain safe, compliant, and operationally sound ✅

Railway Housing Association, phase 1 completed ✅

At the start of the year, we were pleased to secure a new tender with Railway Housing Association to deliver retrofit measures across 122 homes.

Being part of this isn't just work for us; it's giving back.

Our work involves carrying out retrofit measures across their homes, modifications designed to:

Proud to be part of an award-winning project 💚

Last month, our MD, Andrew Porrit, were invited to the North East Efficiency Awards by Consult Net Zero.

We’ve been working alongside their team and other partners North Star Housing Group on a solar panel scheme delivered in early 2025.

Our project was proudly named the winner in the Regional Large Scale Project (>250k) category. We're proud to have played a part in making it happen 🙌🏼

This project has helped in reducing fuel poverty and improving energy efficiency in properties that are often the hardest to upgrade.

Projects like this are exactly why we do what we do.

Seeing real, tangible improvements to people's homes and lives, and having that work recognised at a regional level, means a great deal to our team.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved. This one was a team effort from start to finish 🏆
