During the night of 18–19 January 2026, a well-organized theft was carried out at company premises. Based on CCTV footage, the offenders acted in a well-coordinated manner, and used multiple vehicles and their own brought forklift. The offenders gained access to the site via the fence, then forcibly broke both internal and external security gates, allowing vehicles to enter the premises.
The following vehicles were used during the offence:
• White Ford Transit van
• Grey Ford Transit
• Red long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
• Ford Transit Recovery vehicle equipped with a forklift
• Two DAF HGVs one white and one red.
It was observed that vehicle registration plates were either missing or suspected to be cloned or fake, suggesting deliberate attempts to conceal identification.
As a direct result of this offence, the following materials were stolen:
• 38,505 kilograms of copper granules
• 1,714 kilograms of ferrous bits extracted with magnets during the sorting
